Training project in 2010
Information society stimulating association Langas į ateitį (Window to the future) signed a contract with the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of Lithuania and the European Social Fund Agency to provide EU financial support to national level trainings for residents of Lithuania. Langas į ateitį launches a new project titled "Online Services for a Lithuanian E-Citizen" and intends to introduce and train using ICT and e-services to 16.000 adult residents of Lithuania.

Training project in 2003

In 2003 Langas į ateitį initiated large-scale trainings on computer literacy and internet usage basics. Over 20 000 Lithuanian adults attended the organized courses. The main goal of the project was to demonstrate the benefits of the internet, to encourage people to use computers and e-services at work and at home, to invite people to use further acquired knowledge in Public internet access points.

Training project in 2006 - 2008

During March 2006 – August 2008 Langas į ateitį implemented a project “Computer Literacy Basics for a Lithuanian E-Citizen”. The organized courses provided computer literacy and internet usage basics to 50 400 Lithuanian residents older than 16 years of age.

Distance learning project in 2008 - 2010

In 2008 Langas į ateitį received a grant from Microsoft Unlimited Potential Programme to implement a project “Modern Ways of acquiring ICT Knowledge” and develop four online e-learning courses. With this project Langas į ateitį until 2010 is encouraging Lithuanian residents to study online about safer internet, communication possibilities in internet, Excel and PowerPoint software.
